In 2022, the city's community affairs acceptance service center has a total business volume of 12.225 million, of which "city-wide handling" accounts for 20.2%, and self-service terminals handle 2.791 million cases. The convenience and satisfaction of people's services continue to improve.
The Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau announced the third-party evaluation results of the standardization construction of community affairs acceptance service centers from 2020 to 2022. The average score of the city's community affairs acceptance service centers was 91.89. Among them, 73 were rated "5A". The Pudong New District Puxing Road Street Community Affairs Acceptance Service Center ranked first in the city, with 88 rated "4A", 38 rated "3A", and 21 rated "2A". Pudong New Area, Qingpu District, and Hongkou District ranked among the top three in the city, and Jiading District, Pudong New Area, Minhang District, and Putuo District made significant progress.

In order to further facilitate residents to "do things nearby and at their doorsteps", this year the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau will also launch a remote virtual window service model, extending community affairs acceptance service center matters to neighborhood committees, good neighbor centers, life boxes, citizen stations, etc. At present, this work has been carried out on a pilot basis in Jing'an District, and will be promoted throughout the city in the next step.
